  • Series 32 Wafer-Style Dio-Seal Isolator

The Series-32 DIO SEAL Instrument Isolator is a circumferential instrument protection device separating a pressure gauge, transmitter or switch from hard-to-handle process fluids, completely eliminating instrument corrosion and plugging. The isolator interior consists of an elastomeric or PTFE-lined Sensor Ring...the only wetted component of the isolator. The end faces of the Sensor Ring contain integrally molded flange sealing beads, eliminating the need for separate flange gaskets. This flow-thru isolator creates a no "dead zone" installation, offering superior performance to diaphragm seals.

The wafer-style DIO-SEAL tm isolator utilizes vulcanization- bonded methodology to form and bond the Sensor Ring to the carbon steel or stainless steel isolator body. A Sensor Fluid fills the instrument's internal volume and the annular volume between isolator body and Sensor Ring. This isolator design totally eliminates Sensor Fluid leak paths, allowing trouble-free measurement of both pressure and vacuum in process lines contain viscous and corrosive slurries, as well as ultra-pure fluids and food products.

The isolator ID mates to Schedule 40 ANSI Class 150 flanged Pipe systems. Isolators for ANSI Class 300 and 600 flanged Piping are also available.
